Chiral takes you on a ride through the night sky on this one. Some of the rides are loud, some are long, and some are both but all are excellent. There are some quieter rides and two covers thrown in to boot,

I was always intrigued by this group's choice of album covers, it isn't every day that you see high quality space photos in this genre despite the rise of "cosmic" black metal. But the music blew me away, this sounds like Austere took the atmospheric spacey route. (I will assume it's a coincidence that both bands are Australian)

Can't get enough of vvilderness. The vocal version of this album is magnificent, but the instrumental version, IMO, is something else. Truly a special atmospheric black metal album.
